Here's another gouache floral painting I finished not too long ago. As you can see, it's inspired by the floral Ukrainian folk art, although I made it a lot more basic and modern.

I love love love working with gouache paint. It's so vibrant, pigmented and easy to play around with!
When I was a little kid, maybe 6 or 7 years old, my parents bought me a really nice set of gouache paint. I loved it, and that's what we used in my art class back then. So now that I've gotten reacquainted with it again, I simply can't get enough of it!
I'm planning to use this print for developing some greeting cards, note pads, and possibly decorating stationary and household items. Feel free to leave your comments and feedback below!
I'm so excited to have started a new series, based on Slavic/ Ukrainian folklore art techniques. These works are now featured in my Etsy store. Please take a look and let me know what you think!
